Teens For
Tobacco21

Mission:

Educating students, parents, and leaders in the government about the harmful effects of tobacco use in children and young adults in order to pass legislation raising the minimum legal age of purchasing tobacco products to 21.
What We Need:
In order to complete our mission, we need support from adults and students in our community. As teens, we are not often heard on subjects of this matter, but with support from the community, we can bring our platform to legislators in the state government.
Why We Need It:
We need support to show legislators that this is a legitimate issue that the community at large is passionate about. With support from the community, it will be easier to pass legislation and make a change. If we do not start now, when will it ever start?

"We see clear signs that youth use of electronic

cigarettes has reached an epidemic proportion."
